Job Overview:
We are seeking a Construction Foreman with experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will run and lead various building construction projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time, with quality, efficiently, and safely.
Harwood Construction Solutions primarily performs work in the residential building industry construction both new construction residential projects, remodel/renovation projects, and light commercial tenant improvement work. We are looking for a qualified foreman with multiple trades experience. Pay is depending on experience and motivation to work and produce results.
We self perform work for the following trades and our most valuable workers have an understanding of multiple trades. We typically will contract projects that involve demolition, concrete, small masonry projects, framing, finish carpentry, insulation, small stucco, asphalt/metal roofing, doors/windows install, drywall, drywall texturing, flooring, painting. Experience in plumbing, hvac, electrical trades is a plus.
We price out any sort of project requested by our clients. One week we might be doing a drywall patch, the next day you could be doing a shower or kitchen remodel, the next job could be a ground up new home, building a deck, patio, we pretty much work on a lot of various projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the setup and cleanup of construction sites
- Manage and oversee use of materials, tools, and equipment
- Operate hand and power tools to construct projects
- Provide instruction to carpenters and laborer for various job tasks
- Manage and oversee site maintenance to ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Show up on time, stay off phones, work hard, and stay productive
Experience:
- Experience in the construction industry is required
- Ability to manage time effectively to meet project deadlines
- Construction experience supervising or working in a team environment
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting construction plans is required
- Proficiency with construction processes and building trade details is required
- Coordination and Management of tools, materials, equipment, and subcontractors is required.
- Must be self motivated to take of any type of building project with confidence, professionalism, and pride.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
