Position Title: Donut Decorator/ Customer Service Role
Location: Madsen Donuts, South Fayette
Schedule: Typically, 5am-9am or 9am to 2pm; Weekend availability a MUST!
Reports To: Store Supervisor
Employment Type: Part-Time (20ish hours)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Donut Decorator/ Customer Service Role to join our fast-growing donut shop. This key role is responsible for preparing for the day by finishing our delicious, handcrafted donuts during the shift to ensure they are Madsen worthy. This person is also in charge of creating the atmosphere of the shop every morning by making coffee and helping our customers in the early morning, cleaning the shop after production, preparing boxes for deliveries, and restocking the shop to ensure the production staff is successful. Key Responsibilities:
- Decorate donuts to the standard and quality set by the company.
- Provide excellent customer service for our valued customers.
- Clean and restock to assist the production shift with a smooth start to their day.
- Oversee cash and credit card transactions securely and professionally.
- Present a professional personal appearance and friendly demeanor.
- Attention to detail is essential in assessing quality of the donuts
- Work efficiently to meet daily pre orders and timelines without sacrificing quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all health and safety guidelines mandated by the government.
- Collaborate with teammates and communicate clearly to ensure a smooth, productive shift.
- Follow all operational procedures and company policies, including those related to food safety and hygiene.
- Assist with equipment cleaning, supply restocking, and end-of-shift cleanup.
- Ability to take preorders over the phone accurately.
Qualifications:
· Prior experience in food production, baking, or culinary settings is a plus, but not required.
· Strong work ethic with the ability to work quickly and efficiently under time constraints.
· Commitment to excellence in product quality and presentation.
· Collaborator with a cheerful outlook and effective communication skills.
· Dependable and punctual with a keen sense of responsibility.
· Experience handling food delivery service orders, a plus.
· Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs.
· Willingness to work most weekday and weekend mornings consistently
