Job Description
Perform a variety of assembly and hand operations related to the manufacturing and assembly of medical devices. This includes tending various tools and equipment, loading and unloading components into fixtures, hand operations such as deburring, buffing, mating components, visual in-process inspection, and troubleshooting products and processes. Maintain quality by inspecting parts during the assembly operation using measuring devices, gauges, and microscopes to ensure manufacturing consistency to required specifications. Complete and maintain required production and quality control records and logs in accordance with company production standards.
Responsibilities

Perform a variety of assembly and hand operations related to the manufacturing of medical devices.

Tend to various tools and equipment and load/unload components into fixtures.

Conduct hand operations such as deburring, buffing, and mating components.

Perform visual in-process inspections and troubleshoot products and processes.

Maintain quality by inspecting parts using measuring devices, gauges, and microscopes.

Complete and maintain production and quality control records and logs.

Change settings on assembly equipment and adjust tools to maintain accuracy.

Provide feedback to co-workers, supervisors, and management to ensure efficient operations.

Clean equipment, tools, and work area as necessary.

Demonstrate the ability to safely use assembly equipment.

Fill out accurate and timely documentation both written and on the computer.
Essential Skills

Experience with assembling, production, and packing.

Proficiency in inspection and hand production tasks.

Ability to retain a variety of SOPs for various assembly processes.

Attention to detail and ability to maintain good documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.

Three months of previous manufacturing assembly experience preferred.

The work involves small part medical device assembly in a clean room environment, requiring a hair/beard net, lab coat, and booties over shoes. Smaller assembly teams work in different areas depending on production needs. The dress code includes jeans and a t-shirt, with no ripped clothing allowed. The facility is very clean, ensuring a professional and organized work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
