Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Plumbing Construction Assistant/Project Manager to support our project management team in coordinating construction projects from planning through completion. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and eager to grow in the construction industry while working closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist Project Managers with day-to-day coordination of construction projects.
· Track project schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout documentation.
· Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, field teams, and clients to support timely project progress.
· Prepare and maintain project documentation, meeting notes, reports, purchase orders, and correspondence.
· Review drawings, specifications, proposals, and project details for accuracy and completeness.
· Help coordinate materials, equipment, permits, inspections, deliveries, and jobsite needs.
· Support project meetings and follow up on action items with internal and external teams.
· Monitor project deadlines and help identify issues before they affect schedule, cost, or quality.
· Assist with jobsite visits as needed to review progress and coordinate with field personnel.
· Promote a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
Qualifications
· Previous experience in construction, project coordination, estimating, field operations, or a related role preferred.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and project documents preferred.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with project management software, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar tools is a plus.
· Strong attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required for jobsite visits.

· Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional additional hours as project needs require

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
