Position Overview
The Assistant Coach supports the Head Coach and athletic program by assisting with instruction, supervision, and program operations. Assistant Coaches contribute to the development of student-athletes by reinforcing team culture, teaching skills, and helping maintain a positive and disciplined environment. Assistant Coaches serve as important mentors and role models within the athletic community.

Qualifications

Knowledge of the assigned sport and willingness to continue learning and developing as a coach.

Previous coaching or playing experience preferred.

Ability to work effectively as part of a coaching staff.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Positive attitude, professionalism, and commitment to student-athlete development.

Commitment to the mission and values of the school and athletic department.

CPR, AED, First Aid, and required certifications required.

Must successfully complete all required background checks and compliance training.
