SUMMARY: To pack, feed, and perform general tasks as needed.
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Pack, fill, and seal bags, as needed.
- Fills display boxes and/or balers with packaged product.
- Palletize products, as needed.
- Loads wood logs on conveyor belt, if position requires.
- Examines materials or products visually with hands to ensure conformance to establish standards.
- Maintain cleans work areas with use of hand tools including shovels and brooms, as required or requested.
- Follows all required safety standards
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION:
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- No experience required.
- Must be able to lift on average 40 to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions or temperatures.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend and stoop for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to tolerate fast repetitive movement including but not limited to bending and squatting.
- Actively seeks to contribute to the positive morale, attitude and effectiveness of their work environment.
