Overview

Duties
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication processes.
- Operate various power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to shape and assemble metal components.
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and utilize other fabrication methods to find solutions to complex problems
- Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet exact specifications.
- Follow safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing floors while maintaining high standards of quality control throughout the process.
Experience
- Proven construction site experience or hands-on fabrication background in manufacturing environments.
- Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, woodworking equipment. A arts or Sculpture background is a huge plus.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math for measurements and calculations.
- Experience working with sheet metal, steel tubing, wood, paints, resins, foam etc.
- Ability to operate power tools such as grinders, drills, soldering equipment, and machining tools efficiently.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with attention to detail ensures precision fabrication aligned with project specifications. Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
