Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Information Technology Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance and security. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong understanding of various technologies, including network administration, VPNs, and server management.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage and maintain computers, notebooks, iOS devices, and handle some project handling,
- Support Office applications, ensuring users have the tools they need for productivity.
- Utilize our ticket system for incident management and tracking of IT service requests.
- Oversee network tasks, including monitoring performance and resolving connectivity issues.
- Support Windows Server environments, performing updates, backups, and user management.
- Collaborate with team members
- Provide technical support for macOS systems as needed.
- Work some nights and weekends when needed for events and critical response.
Qualifications
- Some experience in IT support or a related field.
- Some Audio/Visual Experience
- Some Security Camera and Access Control Experience
- Some hands-on wiring and installation experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose technical issues effectively.
- Familiarity with Windows, Chrome, iOS, and MacOS.
- Knowledge of Office applications and other software.
- Great communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Looking to learn and grow in a school environment.
- Able to lift small to heavy items.
