Overview:
As a Maintenance Mechanic/Mold Tech II, you’ll be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining the Distribution Center equipment. This position is also responsible for assisting with facility repairs as needed. This Maintenance Mechanic/Mold Tech II is expected to be proactive and can perform their work at a high level with minimum supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for following all Safety policies in compliance with Rain Bird Safety Standards and Programs

Perform tasks to increase Equipment Uptime and Reliability
- Perform periodic Preventative Maintenance tasks

Provide troubleshooting skills to make mechanical/electrical repairs to equipment

Communicate issues/improvements/ideas between department members and Supervision

Responsible for reviewing Corrective Work Orders via Smartsheets or CMMS software and update as required

Troubleshoot equipment/machinery to determine issue and repair in a safe/timely manner
- Light Fabrication Work as needed
- Work alongside the Operations team in resolving equipment issues
Qualifications:
- Follow Safety Policies and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance

Ability to perform electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and repairs

Knowledge and ability to understand Electrical/Mechanical Drawings

Experience repairing complex equipment/machinery
- Knowledge and experience with computers (Ability to research parts, machines, etc.)

Strong Work Ethic

Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others

Ability to complete tasks timely
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

Working toward or have received a Technical Degree or Equivalent

Problem solving experience

Knowledge in Continuous Improvement (Improve equipment with new designs/modifications)

5+ Years of Industrial Maintenance and Electrical Experience
