The Field Inspector is responsible for conducting field inspections of security officers, ensuring compliance with company policies, client requirements, post orders, and operational standards. This position serves as a key quality assurance role by evaluating officer performance, identifying training needs, addressing operational issues, and maintaining a strong company presence at client locations.
Field Inspectors perform both scheduled and unannounced site visits, document findings, assist with corrective actions, and support client satisfaction through proactive oversight of security operations.

Conduct scheduled and random inspections of assigned security sites.

Verify officer attendance, appearance, professionalism, and compliance with company standards.

Ensure officers are following client post orders, patrol procedures, access control procedures, and emergency response protocols.

Inspect uniforms, equipment, company vehicles, site documentation, and security logs for compliance.

Complete detailed inspection reports and submit documentation in a timely manner.

Observe officer performance and provide coaching, mentoring, and corrective guidance when appropriate.

Identify operational deficiencies and communicate recommendations to management.

Verify Daily Activity Reports (DARs), incident reports, post logs, and required documentation for accuracy and completeness.

Conduct site audits to ensure compliance with company policies, client expectations, and applicable regulations.

Respond to operational issues, staffing shortages, and emergency situations as directed.

Assist with onboarding, field training, and refresher training for newly assigned security personnel.

Address minor client concerns professionally and promptly while escalating significant issues to management.

Identify safety hazards and report unsafe conditions immediately.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, follow-up visits, coaching sessions, and corrective actions.

Travel between multiple client locations throughout the workday.

Ability to stand, walk, patrol, and conduct inspections for extended periods.

Ability to climb stairs and navigate various work environments.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Ability to drive between multiple locations throughout the workday.

High school diploma or GED required.

Valid Class “D” Security License in the state of Florida, as required by state regulations.

Minimum of two (2) years of security experience required.

Supervisory or field management experience in contract security preferred.

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Ability to travel between multiple client locations.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and report writing.

CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred.

Experience conducting inspections or audits is preferred.

Must successfully pass a background screening.

Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.

Frequent travel between multiple client locations.

Combination of indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
