HR Intern
This internship opportunity is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields. Offered during the spring, summer, and fall academic terms, this part-time role reports to the HR Specialist and provides a flexible schedule to accommodate class commitments. The internship offers meaningful, hands-on experience in core HR functions and may be eligible for college credit, depending on your institution's requirements.
o Spring: Approximately 14 weeks, from mid-January to the end of April.
o Fall: Approximately 14 weeks, from September to mid-December.
o Summer: Approximately 10 weeks, from June to mid-August.
The HR Intern will support the daily operations of the HR department, gaining practical experience in areas such as recruitment, employee relations, training and development, compliance, and HR administration. This internship is designed to help build a strong foundation within a dynamic and multi-industry organization.
Key Objectives

Gain hands-on exposure to HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, and recordkeeping

Assist with HR documentation, data entry, and compliance-related tasks

Support internal employee communications and engagement initiatives
Primary Responsibilities

Assist with screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications

Help facilitate new hire onboarding, including preparing orientation materials and documentation

Maintain and update HR files and personnel records, both digitally and in physical form

Support data entry and reporting in HR information systems

Help ensure compliance with internal policies and employment regulations

Participate in drafting internal HR communications, forms, and policy updates

Provide general administrative and operational support to the HR team
Qualifications

Actively pursuing an Associate/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment
