JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Safety Manager to be part of the team. This individual will work with our Transportation Safety Auditors to ensure the safety of the drivers. This individual will train, monitor, and audit all safety processes for the department. The individual will spend most of their time at the airport.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that all personnel perform their job in a safe manner in line with airport regulations and traffic laws.
- Perform other safety audits as needed.
- Coordinate new hire safety training and perform the safety training.
- Ensure all Drivers are properly trained before starting work.
- Track on spreadsheet and online the audit report and progress.
- Regular and timely attendance is expected for the position.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma required
- Previous experience as an auditor preferred
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Solid understanding of OSHA laws, especially as it pertains to driving
- Knowledge of airport safety regulations preferred
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
- Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attendance, diligence, punctuality, reliability
