Job Overview
Sachs Peanuts is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Mill Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our peanut milling department. This position is responsible for leading a small team, maintaining production efficiency, supporting food safety and quality standards, and ensuring equipment and processes operate effectively.

Duties
- Supervise daily milling operations to meet production, quality, and efficiency goals
- Lead, coach, and support mill operators and production personnel
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime
- Review production schedules and ensure adequate staffing and workflow coverage
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, food safety, and workplace safety requirements
- Maintain production records, shift reports, and operational documentation
- Work closely with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Packaging teams
- Investigate and address production issues, quality concerns, and operational challenges
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and operational projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of manufacturing, production, or food processing experience
- Previous supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to prioritize work, solve problems, and make sound decisions
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
