Job Overview
Seeking an experienced drafter for architectural millwork including retail fixtures and cabinets; we work in AutoCAD and Inventor; must work with clients and production team to draw detailed shop drawings and then to CNC program.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Router CIM.
- Collaborate with architects, and project managers to interpret design requirements and translate them into precise technical drawings.
- Incorporate feedback from team members to refine drawings, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare construction documentation, including plans, sections, elevations, and details necessary for project implementation.
- Maintain organized digital files of all drawings and revisions for easy access and version control.
Requirements
- Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD and/or Inventor.
- Strong knowledge of drafting standards and industry-specific schematics across construction or mechanical design disciplines.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications accurately.
