Duties
- Greet guests promptly and warmly upon their arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring all orders are correct and meet The Armory Speakeasy's high standards.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including all specials and promotions.
- Ensure the dining area remains clean and well-organized, adhering to cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately using our POS system.
- Provide professional, courteous, and engaging service to all guests.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required, preparing the restaurant for service and ensuring everything is in order for the next shift.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Server in a restaurant or bar setting.
- Strong understanding of customer service and hospitality principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling regulations.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and to carry heavy trays of food and beverages.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
