Our client, a leader in the life sciences and pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, is seeking a Construction Project Manager experienced with Pharma industry and Clean Rooms to join their team. You will be part of the Engineering and Construction Department supporting the expansion and development of critical facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Pharma Construction Project Manager
Location:St. Louis, MO
Pay Range:$100-110/hr.
What's the Job?
- Provide senior-level project engineering and technical expertise to ensure successful delivery of life science projects.
- Lead project workstreams within large and complex projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, budget, and schedule.
- Collaborate with site, project, and construction teams to facilitate timely decision-making and project progression.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks; implement effective solutions and escalate unresolved issues promptly.
- Maintain active stakeholder communication and manage relationships to support project success.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, with a preference for process engineering experience.
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in capital project execution and construction within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with design and build of clean rooms and classified spaces, including qualification and validation processes.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing facility regulations, standards, and cGMPs.
- Excellent leadership, relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive change in a matrix environment.
