We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in the CVICU, ready to provide high-level care and clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
- Monitor heart rhythms, interpret vital signs, and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions
- Maintain a patient assignment with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, ensuring individualized attention and safety
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the multidisciplinary care team
- Administer medications and manage advanced life support equipment as needed
- Document care accurately and efficiently according to hospital protocols
- Provide support and education to patients and their families during recovery
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a cardiac or CVICU setting required
- Strong assessment skills and proficiency in cardiac monitoring
- ACLS and BLS certifications (current)
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Adaptable to rapidly changing situations and able to remain calm under pressure
Schedule & Duration:
- Contract assignment with set hours (specific shift details provided upon interview)
- Rotating coverage to ensure 24/7 patient support
