Duties
- Audit signs and ensure proper function occurs.
- Pass a written and hands on test.
- Inspect and test equipment.
- Reproduce, isolate, and diagnose problems.
- Disassemble equipment as necessary to access problematic components.
- Clean, repair, and replace components.
- Reassemble and test equipment after repairs.
- Keep records of repairs, tests, parts, and labor hours
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician or in electronic equipment repair with a strong background in electrical troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting manuals.
- Skilled in using hand tools, soldering irons, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, low voltage wiring, and computer hardware components.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical expertise to perform comprehensive equipment repairs.
