About the Position
Seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee daily field operations on luxury custom residential construction projects throughout Eastern Long Island and the Hamptons.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on construction professional with extensive experience supervising high-end residential projects while maintaining exceptional standards of quality, scheduling, safety, and client service.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily field operations of luxury residential construction projects.
- Coordinate and supervise all subcontractors and field personnel.
- Ensure construction activities comply with project schedules, specifications, and quality standards.
- Work closely with Senior Management and Project Managers to execute project objectives.
- Monitor workmanship and proactively resolve field issues.
- Coordinate inspections and maintain compliance with local building requirements.
- Maintain daily job logs, field reports, punch lists, and progress documentation.
- Assist in maintaining project schedules and identifying potential delays.
- Coordinate material deliveries and site logistics.
- Ensure jobsite safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with owners, architects, designers, owner's representatives, consultants, inspectors, and subcontractors.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion while working in private residences of high-profile clients.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of supervisory experience in high-end residential construction.
- Previous employment with a luxury residential builder or owner's representative firm is required.
- Thorough knowledge of residential construction methods and sequencing.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience coordinating all construction trades.
- Strong understanding of scheduling, production planning, and cost awareness.
- Ability to identify construction issues before they become project delays.
- Familiarity with Procore and AutoCAD is considered an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
