Position Overview
The Pool & Beach Attendant plays a key role in delivering a high-quality guest experience by maintaining clean, organized, and welcoming recreational areas. This position requires a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality required
- Pool and/or beach attendant experience preferred
- Must be able to work 8-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds
Shift Times
7am-3:00pm (Monday-Friday)
8:30am-5:30pm (Saturdays & Sundays)
3:00pm-11pm (Monday-Friday)
Key Responsibilities
- Beach Setup & Breakdown:
- Preset the beach daily with chairs and umbrellas
- Maintain organization and cleanliness throughout the day
- Pool Deck Operations:
- Open and prepare the pool deck, including setting up umbrellas and seating
- Ensure the area remains clean, safe, and visually appealing
- Facility Maintenance & Cleanliness:
- Maintain overall aesthetics of the pool, beach, and surrounding areas
- Remove debris and keep all areas tidy
- Stock necessary items and supplies throughout the day
- Clean and maintain clubhouse and restroom facilities
- Guest Services:
- Promote a fun, safe, and relaxing atmosphere for all guests
- Enforce facility rules and regulations
- Assist guests with towels and general needs
- Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Safety & Compliance:
- Observe activity in pool and beach areas and respond appropriately in emergencies
- Report accidents, injuries, unsafe conditions, and maintenance issues
- Follow all company safety, security, and operational procedures
- Assist injured guests until emergency services arrive if needed
- Teamwork & Professionalism:
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment
- Uphold company standards and protect company assets
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
