Scheduling
- This is a part time, on call position with scheduling based on Banquet event needs.
- Flexible schedule based on banquet events
Duties
- Prepare banquet rooms by setting tables, arranging chairs, and ensuring all event spaces are clean and inviting before guest arrival
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously, adhering to food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Assist with catering setup and breakdown, including transporting supplies and arranging buffet stations or serving stations
- Bus tables promptly during events to maintain a tidy environment and ensure guest comfort
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, accommodating special requests, and fostering positive guest relations
- Support food preparation activities as needed, including replenishing supplies and assisting culinary staff during events
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including washing dishes, clearing trays, and ensuring proper food handling practices are followed
Skills
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with banquet service, catering setups, or restaurant operations is a plus
- Good physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and moving equipment throughout shifts
- Familiarity with food preparation and serving standards in hotel or restaurant settings
