Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with menu selections, providing detailed descriptions of food and drink options.
- Take accurate customer orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Process cash transactions, handle cash register operations, and manage retail sales transactions with precision.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly suggestions.
- Maintain food safety standards by following sanitation protocols, proper food handling procedures, and cleanliness guidelines.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and assist in basic food preparation when needed to support kitchen staff.
- Manage customer orders from start to finish, ensuring timely service and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Keep the dining area tidy, sanitized, and inviting for guests at all times.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, food safety management, sanitation, and kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing orders and transactions.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently during busy hours.
- Proven ability in customer service, with a friendly attitude and effective communication skills.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and managing change accurately.
- Experience with food industry standards including serving, upselling, and food handling procedures.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace in accordance with health regulations.
