About the Role:
Weare seeking a high-performing EHS Emergency Response Supervisor to lead ourcritical incident dispatch and safety coordination team at CBRE. In thispivotal leadership role, you will oversee the front-line emergency hotlineresponse, direct high-pressure escalations, and serve as the technicalauthority for sites lacking on-site environmental, health, and safety support.You will not only manage the real-time tracking of automated risk alerts andhigh-risk site activities but also motivate your team to meet strict qualityand efficiency metrics. By leveraging CBRE’s RISE values, you will transformraw compliance data into strategic weekly and monthly reports for seniorleadership, while resolving complex, systemic process issues acrossmulti-functional departments.
What You’ll Do:
Fielding incoming calls to an emergency hotline, navigating response, notifications, and escalations to designated business partners.
Provide set guidance to sites without EHS support for emergency response, identifying the appropriate EHS resource and escalation for incidents.
Monitoring risk coming from automated alerts and manual escalations and ensuring that they are captured and communicated.
Identify sites with high-risk activities and making sure that it is communicated to designated business partners.
Provide management with weekly and monthly designated reports.
Track compliance within your responsibilities and report up to senior leadership.
Work with stakeholders to identify potential concerns. Communicate findings, concerns, and deficiencies to responsible functional managers.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Proven experience in fielding incoming emergency calls, navigating response, protocols, and managing notifications and escalations in a high-pressure environment.
Experience monitoring high-risk activities and identifying appropriate standby resources.
Demonstrate the ability to interpret and apply site-level emergency action plans (EEAPs) and site-level safety protocols.
The ability to communicate and collaborate between multi-functional teams regarding shelter-in-place and evacuation aspects of incident response.
Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and solution problems.
Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
