Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an OTR (Over-the-Road) Box Truck Driver, operating a 26-foot box truck to deliver goods efficiently and safely across designated routes. You will be responsible for timely deliveries, proper handling of cargo, and ensuring compliance with all traffic and DOT regulations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26-foot box truck for local and regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Ensure proper securing of loads to prevent damage during transit and comply with weight handling regulations in the workplace.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Use mobile devices or GPS systems to follow designated routes efficiently while maintaining accurate delivery documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods promptly, professionally, and with a positive attitude.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with company policies and DOT standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or courier roles involving box trucks or similar vehicles.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred but not required depending on route specifics.
- Experience with manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling equipment operation (pallet jacks, forklifts), and heavy lifting safety practices.
- Ability to adhere strictly to traffic regulations, safety protocols, and DOT regulations at all times.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting heavy items safely.
- Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and using mobile devices for navigation or documentation purposes.

Pay: $1,750.00 - $2,500.00 per week
