We are a custom cabinet and architectural millwork shop looking for an EXPERIENCED cabinet Painter/Stainer/finisher. This position requires strong hands-on experience with both painted and stained finishes. Most of our work involves stained cabinets and millwork, so staining is a core part of this role.
This is a shop-based position working on high-end residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Stain cabinets and millwork (spray and hand application)
- Mix and match stains for consistency and color accuracy
- Apply sealers, toners, glazes, and clear coats
- Spray paint cabinets and parts when required
- Sand, prep, and finish materials to a high standard
- Maintain a clean and organized finishing area
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules
- Communicate with shop management on finish expectations
- Assist with training and/or guidance of other shop personnel when needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience staining cabinets and wood millwork
- Experience spraying finishes (HVLP or similar)
- Ability to match stains and finishes consistently
- Comfortable working independently without constant supervision
- Willingness to work on both stained and painted projects
- Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Reliable and consistent work habits

- You are unwilling to stain cabinets
- You are not open to helping train others when needed
- You are not willing to help sand when needed
