Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve patient communication and swallowing abilities
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions, as well as consultation services to patients, families, and caregivers
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and coordination
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and evidence-based research to continuously improve patient outcomes and services
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
- Clinical fellowship completed or in progress
- Current certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Ability to work with patients across the lifespan, including pediatric and adult populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
