Job Summary
FRSTeam by Contents Pros is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Lead Technician to join our contents restoration team. This position is responsible for performing inspections, leading field crews, supporting customers throughout the restoration process, and coordinating closely with our in-office team.
The ideal candidate is organized, professional, comfortable working in customers’ homes and businesses, and capable of leading a crew while maintaining our standards for quality, efficiency, and customer care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections for water, fire, smoke, mold, and other property losses
- Evaluate affected contents and assist in determining appropriate restoration procedures
- Clearly explain the pack-out, cleaning, storage, and delivery process to customers
- Provide compassionate and professional support to customers during stressful situations
- Lead and supervise crews during pack-outs, deliveries, inventories, and on-site work
- Assign tasks and ensure crew members work safely and efficiently
- Complete detailed photo documentation, inventories, job notes, and required paperwork
- Communicate job progress, customer concerns, and scheduling needs to project managers and office staff
- Coordinate with adjusters, contractors, mitigation companies, and other industry partners as needed
- Ensure customers’ belongings are handled, packed, transported, and stored with care
- Maintain organized job sites, vehicles, equipment, and warehouse areas
- Assist with cleaning and restoration work in the warehouse when needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in contents restoration, mitigation, moving, construction, or a related field is preferred, but not required
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience is strongly preferred
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented in stressful situations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable using a phone or tablet for photos, documentation, and job updates
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass applicable background and employment screenings
- Ability to lift and carry between 25-50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
- Availability for occasional overtime, weekends, or emergency response work

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, communicates well, and understands the importance of treating every customer and their belongings with respect. The Lead Technician should be able to guide the crew confidently while maintaining strong communication with customers, project managers, and office staff.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
