Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced CDL Class A Driver to run a dedicated route from Grand Junction, CO to Aurora, CO and back to Grand Junction.
This is position, requiring the driver to assist with picking up a trailer at the Aurora location before returning. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, punctual, physically capable, and committed to delivering excellent service.
Route Details
- Route: Grand Junction → Aurora → Grand Junction
- Primary Duty: Pick up a trailer in Aurora and return it to Grand Junction
- Shift Start Time: Approximately 4:30 PM
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Completion: Shift ends once route is completed (timing may vary due to weather)
Pay & Schedule
- Daily Rate: $325 per day
- Workdays: Monday – Friday
- Home Time: Home daily & weekends off
- Shift Length: Varies depending on route completion and delays
- Employment Type: Full-Time
Note: Due to traffic, weather, or loading delays, end times may vary. Flexibility is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely and in compliance with DOT regulations
- Drive nightly route from Grand Junction to Aurora and return
- Pick up, secure, and transport trailer safely
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain communication with dispatch regarding route status
- Provide professional and reliable service at all times
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience
- Must be 21 years or older
- Valid DOT medical card
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Physically capable of handling freight (lifting, moving, etc.)
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
