Job Overview:
Affinity Urgent Care is seeking a qualified and dependable PRN Provider to join our team at the Premier Urgent Care location. This position is ideal for a provider who enjoys a fast-paced urgent care setting and is comfortable treating patients of all ages.
The PRN Provider will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating acute illnesses and injuries, ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing, performing minor procedures, and ensuring high-quality patient care in accordance with clinic protocols.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide compassionate, efficient care to pediatric and adult patients
- Evaluate and treat urgent care complaints, including minor injuries, illnesses, infections, and occupational medicine visits
- Order and interpret labs, X-rays, EKGs, and other diagnostic testing as appropriate
- Perform minor procedures within scope of practice
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to support smooth clinic operations
Requirements:
- Current Texas NP or PA license
- Active DEA license preferred
- DOT Certified preferred
- Urgent care, emergency medicine, or similar experience preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and professionalism
- Dependability and flexibility with PRN scheduling needs
Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
