Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Diesel Oil Change Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing efficient and thorough oil changes for deisel vehicles, vehicle inspections, and basic maintenance services to ensure our customers’ vehicles operate smoothly and safely. Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes using various hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostics equipment to ensure optimal engine performance.
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall vehicle condition.
- Assist with additional maintenance tasks such as tire service, wheel alignments, and brake inspections as needed.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to identify potential issues and communicate findings clearly to customers or supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times during heavy lifting or maintenance procedures.
- Support the team with vehicle maintenance tasks that enhance overall automotive service quality.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance or repairs when appropriate.
Skills
- Dealership experience or prior automotive repair background is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostics equipment.
- Familiarity with oil change procedures, tire service, wheel alignment, and general vehicle maintenance.
- Service technician experience combined with good customer service skills to assist clients effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during routine maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of automotive service standards and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Oil change: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- ASE Certification (Preferred)
