Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and creative Assistant Event Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of various events, ensuring that each occasion is memorable and meets the client's expectations. This role requires exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to budgets and timelines.
Duties
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, objectives, and budget for each event.
- Develop comprehensive event plans that include timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including catering, guest services, transportation, and accommodations.
- Manage on-site operations during events to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests before, during, and after events.
- Assist the Head Planner at large-scale events
- Attend bridal shows and marketing events with the team
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Self-motivated individual who can lead with little supervision
- Experience in hospitality or restaurant is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Organizational skills that ensure attention to detail in all aspects of event planning.
