Key Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited college
- Active state licensure as a radiologic technologist
- ARRT certification required
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced urgent care or emergency setting preferred
- Exceptional rapport with patients of all ages
- Strong organizational aptitude with proven EMR proficiency (EPIC experience preferred)
- Positive, motivating presence and effective communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct front office functions, manage patient registration and payment processing
- Triage and room patients, documenting comprehensive histories and clinical data in the EMR
- Obtain and process point-of-care test specimens, as well as laboratory send-outs
- Support minor surgical procedures as directed by providers
- Prepare and maintain radiology suite, execute X-ray exams per protocol, and ensure image transfer to Radiology
- Disinfect, re-stock, and maintain clinical areas between patient visits
- Participate in onboarding new staff and fulfill additional assignments as needed
