American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an ICU position in South Florida, requiring a minimum of two years of recent ICU experience, active FL or compact RN license, and prior travel nursing experience.

ICU setting within an acute care hospital environment
-
Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
-
Every other weekend (EOW) required
-
Float to other units on an as-needed basis
-
Holiday coverage required on an as-needed basis
-
Hurricane response sign-up required (activation not guaranteed)

Epic EMR experience required
-
Active FL or compact RN license currently in hand
-
Current certifications required at time of consideration: BLS and ACLS (both via AHA or ARC), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Minimum two years of recent, full-time ICU experience required

Prior travel nursing experience required

Experience in SICU, MICU, or Trauma is preferred

Degree must be from an accredited school, or from an institution approved by the Florida Board of Nursing (FBON) with at least two years of consecutive acute care experience within the past 24 months in a US hospital

Epic EMR experience required

Proof of vaccination status required — declinations are not accepted

A pass/fail Basic Arrhythmia (EKG) assessment is required; candidates who do not achieve 100% on lethal rhythms must complete a re-take dysrhythmia exam within 24 hours and pass with an overall Angoff score of 83% or greater, 100% on the lethal rhythm section, and 83% on all other sections
