Responsibilities
- Deliver hot and cold dishes from the kitchen to guests’ tables efficiently, maintaining food quality and presentation standards.
- Assist servers by refilling drinks, clearing plates, and attending to guest needs to enhance their dining experience.
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed during transportation and handling of dishes.
- Support sanitation procedures by keeping service stations clean and organized throughout your shift.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff about any special requests or dietary restrictions noted by guests.
- Help maintain a positive atmosphere by providing excellent customer service with a friendly attitude.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours.
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience or familiarity with food service operations is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety management is beneficial.
- Experience using POS (Point of Sale) systems or similar technology is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with an approachable, helpful demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn about food handling practices and restaurant procedures.
