Laser Technologies, Inc. is looking for skilled CNC Laser Setup Trainees to support our expansion on 2nd shift. This is a full-time opportunity at our Naperville location. If the responsibilities and requirements listed below sound like a good fit for you, please apply right away!
Salary: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour based on knowledge, skills, and aptitude.
Primary Responsibilities
- Set-up and operate the CNC laser cutting machines.
- Load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with fast changing priorities.
- Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
- Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Interpret and follow written instruction, sketches, schedules, drawings, and documents.
- Follow all company rules, policies, standards, and procedures.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Must have experience in metal manufacturing.
- Must have good math geometry skills.
- Manufacturing blueprint reading experience is preferred.
- Precision measuring equipment experience is preferred.
- Must have a school diploma or GED.
- Must be reliable and a strong team player.
- Must work effectively and efficiently. Be able to work independently, multi-task and prioritize the jobs or duties that are given.
- Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing in English. Ability to communicate in Spanish is a big plus.
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR/EAR regulations (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, Lawful Permanent Resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime during the week and Saturday availability required based on customer demands.
