Jobin Machine, Inc. of West Hartford, CT is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer
This role is responsible for producing CNC programs, Tooling Sheet, Setting Sheets and general engineering support. Task and responsibilities to include:

Provide an offline programming service for the shop floor

Create method sheets, tooling sheets, planning and process drawings, jig and fixture drawings and assist in the management and predictability of consumable tooling

Design all jigs and fixtures required for manufacture.

Responsible for maintaining CNC program database

Collect set-up and cycle times
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelors’ Degree in Technical or Engineering discipline
-
7-10 years working in engineering and manufacturing
-
Experience working in aerospace manufacturing required

Familiar with a dynamic fast paced job shop environment

Intimate knowledge of CNC programming for milling and turning

Familiar with Mastercam 2018, SpaceClaim, 3D Modeling, etc.

Must speak, comprehend, read and write English

Must have a high sense of urgency and the ability to meet schedule requirements
Responsibilities:
-
Must be proficient in process design with the ability to design fixtures and gages, create detailed routers, operation sheets and provide set-up and cycle times to assist in pricing estimations

Hands-on involvement in all aspects of the manufacturing of small machined parts

Accurately read and interpret blue prints, sketches, drawings, configurations, and customer documents to meet job requirements

Think and act analytically to achieve effective solutions, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to solve practical job related problems required

Function as an effective team player/leader and integrate with quality, procurement, and contracts to ensure organizational compliance to customer contractual and regulatory requirements

Familiar with Microsoft Office systems preferred

Strong problem solving skills and proficient use of common quality methodologies such as process certification, PPAP, Six Sigma, Root Cause analysis and corrective action
