Responsibilities
Assist with the installation of garage doors, including hanging doors and securing frames using hand tools and power tools.
Support the fabrication and assembly of door components, ensuring precise measurements and adherence to schematics.
Participate in heavy lifting tasks to move materials safely around job sites. Assist with electrical wiring and fixture installation as needed for automated or motorized garage doors.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in construction or remodeling is a plus.
Strong interest in learning construction trades such as carpentry.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on elevated or confined spaces.
Basic familiarity with hand tools, and power tools is preferred.
Mechanical aptitude with an eagerness to develop skills in fabrication, and door hanging.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Reliable transportation to job sites; willingness to learn safety procedures related to construction environments.
