Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. You will work closely with children aged 1 years, implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play. Your expertise in childhood development and behavior management will be essential in guiding children as they explore and learn.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to support children with special needs or disabilities.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
Qualifications
- Experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred; experience in nannying or caregiving is a plus.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in preschool education.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies for working with diverse learners.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
