Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate estimates for residential projects, including materials, labor, and overhead.
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors to develop project budgets.
- Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Assess and evaluate bid proposals from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction costs, methods, and materials.
- Communicate effectively with clients to clarify project details and requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of project timelines and schedules.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a residential estimator or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
- Proficient in estimation software.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
