Asphalt/Concrete Salesman
Saffold Paving Inc. is looking for an experienced, motivated salesperson to help grow our paving and concrete division. If you enjoy meeting people, building relationships, and bringing in new business, we'd like to talk with you.
You'll spend most of your time visiting job sites, meeting with property managers, contractors, business owners, HOAs, municipalities, and other potential customers throughout South Florida.
Responsibilities
- Generate new commercial and residential leads
- Visit job sites and meet with potential customers
- Prospect property managers, HOAs, municipalities, general contractors, and commercial property owners
- Build new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and walk-in visits
- Prepare estimates and proposals
- Follow up on leads until the project is awarded or declined
- Work with the operations team to ensure a smooth project handoff
- Keep accurate customer records and manage your sales pipeline
- Attend networking events and build relationships within the community
- Look for opportunities to offer additional services and maintenance programs
- Meet weekly and monthly sales goals
- Provide excellent customer service from the first meeting through project completion
Qualifications
- Sales experience, preferably in construction or outside sales
- Strong communication and people skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Organized and dependable
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic computer programs
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to visit outdoor job sites
Experience in asphalt paving, concrete, sealcoating, striping, or site construction is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person.

Compensation
- Salary plus commission, or commission-only option for experienced sales professionals
