Responsibilities
- Monitor the facility using CCTV surveillance systems to detect any suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Control access points by verifying identification and authorizing entry for staff, vendors, and authorized visitors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety, security, and cleanliness throughout the night shift.
- Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lighting checks, minor repairs, and ensuring safety equipment is operational.
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate issues effectively.
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, inspections, and maintenance work for accountability and reporting purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Certification in first aid and CPR to handle medical emergencies confidently.
- Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with security protocols, CCTV monitoring, and emergency response procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including patrolling large areas during night hours.
