Sr. Systems Administrator
The Information Systems Analyst designs information systems that are appropriate for users' needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture. Under limited supervision, this job is responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of the organization's operating systems.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Formulates system scope through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
- Evaluates and implements changes to existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.
- Reviews flow charts, models, and procedures and feasibility studies to design possible system solutions.
- Reviews technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system.
- Collaborates with system analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems and to determine project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, systems performance standards, and interfaces.
- Identifies and documents all system constraints, implications and consequences of various proposed system changes.
- Educates end users on system designs and functionalities through creation of training materials and conducting demos.
- Evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of application operations and troubleshooting problems.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years of experience supporting enterprise applications, servers, and workstation environments.
- Experience with Windows Server/Client, Linux (RHEL) server, and VMware virtual and physical environments.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including server and workstation operating systems, virtualization platforms, cloud technologies, networking, and endpoint management solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and work both individually and within a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise systems administration
- Previous experience supporting Z-Scaler
- Knowledge and experience with any of the following technologies:

Provides expertise in workstation and server application support for endpoint security, vulnerability management, privileged access management (PAM), and data protection. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to maintain secure, resilient, and high-performing application infrastructure, while driving operational excellence, risk reduction, and continuous improvement across the cyber application technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cyber security application platform upgrades, patching, lifecycle management, and capacity planning activities.
- Monitor application health and performance.
- Respond to incidents and service requests.
- Partner with cyber security operations, infrastructure, and hardware engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cyber security application issues while documenting findings.
- Support projects, research initiatives, and system administration requests.
- Participate in IT security audits, assessments, risk analysis, and reporting.
- Provide information regarding IT policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Maintain operational support responsibility for assigned cybersecurity applications, including after-hours support when necessary.
