Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer with precision and flair, ensuring each drink meets high-quality standards.
- Develop and refine beverage recipes to keep the menu fresh and exciting, incorporating current trends and customer preferences.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and making personalized recommendations based on their tastes.
- Manage POS systems such as Toast POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of spirits, mixers, garnishes, and glassware; restock supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering functions.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Mixologist or bartender in a fast-paced bar or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage presentation techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service within the hospitality industry.
- Prior experience working in fine dining establishments or with beverage recipe development is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and sanitation practices relevant to food service environments.
