Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying powder coatings to various steel and aluminum surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets strict production standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring parts that are prepared for coating are acceptable
- Operate all coating equipment including guns, and booth collection systems
- Follow all principles and practices of powder coating application
- Cure parts at appropriate temperatures within time limitations
- Ensure that all components are produced/coated efficiently and are consistent with company-established goals for quality and customer satisfaction
- Perform housekeeping for machines and department to maintain a clean and organized work area
- Become efficient with painting techniques to meet quality and efficiency needs
Qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience with powder coating preferred, but not required
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle or use hand tools
- Ability to identify and correct inconsistencies in final product
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
