The Industrial Maintenance Technician supports a high-production manufacturing operation. This role is strictly focused on industrial manufacturing equipment and production systems.
Shift: 8am-5pm Saturdays as needed

About the Role
The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on complex manufacturing equipment. The 2nd shift role requires a high level of independence and strong troubleshooting skills to keep production running during peak hours.
Responsibilities:
Electrical & Controls
- Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical systems, motor control circuits, sensors, photo eyes, and controllers
- Install and maintain 120/240/480V electrical systems, conduit, and control panels
- Diagnose and support PLC systems, including programming and troubleshooting
- Maintain and repair VFDs, servo drives, encoded drives, breakers, transformers, and relays
Mechanical & Industrial Systems
- Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment including conveyors, belts, screw conveyors, palletizers, and production machinery
- Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems (pumps, valves, cylinders, air systems)
- Perform welding (MIG/Stick), fabrication, pipefitting, and component replacement
- Dismantle, relocate, and install industrial machinery as required not limited to Motors, Bearings, Guards, and peripheral equipment as necessary.
Preventative Maintenance
- Perform scheduled inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and component replacements utilizing a maintenance program requiring daily maintenance checks.
- Support and improve the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program utilizing Q-Maintain Quikrete proprietary software development.
- Identify and correct potential equipment failures before downtime occurs
About You
- 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2-year technical degree, trade school, or certification preferred
- Strong understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and OSHA safety standards
Experience with:
- Electrical systems
- Pneumatics and hydraulics
- Welding and fabrication
- AC/DC drives and servo systems
- PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Belts, conveyors, and palletizers (semi-automatic palletizers a plus)
Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and Flow charts for operations and internal project applications.
Ability to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced production environment
Physical & Safety Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Able to lift, push, or pull up to 60 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders up to and including 100ft from ground level, ramps, and platforms
- Comfortable working at heights using lifts or ladders
- Must wear required PPE including safety glasses, head protection, hearing protection, and respirators
- Good vision and hearing (corrected if necessary)
Manufacturing environment with exposure to:
- Dust, noise, temperature changes, and weather variations
- Electrical systems, oils, fuels, and industrial materials
