Hours: 8:00-4:30
Salary: Negotiable

Job Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Human Resources department by administering HR policies, maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This role serves as a resource for employees and managers while ensuring HR processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
Job Duties:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting positions, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and coordinating onboarding.
- Conduct new hire orientation and ensure all onboarding documentation is completed.
- Maintain accurate employee personnel files and HRIS records.
- Process employee status changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Assist managers and employees with HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
- Investigate employee concerns and assist in resolving workplace issues professionally and confidentially.
- Coordinate benefits enrollment, and changes
- Administer leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and workers' compensation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist with performance management processes, employee evaluations, and corrective actions.
- Track employee certifications, licenses, and required training.
- Coordinate employee recognition, engagement, and retention initiatives.
- Assist with payroll by verifying employee information and communicating employment changes.
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation as requested.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
- Support policy development and implementation.
- Participate in audits and ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with special HR projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.
Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent leadership and people management skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
