Welded Tube USA is a leading steel fabricator of pipe and casing products. We have several 2nd Shift opportunities to become a part of Buffalo’s future in this historic industry!
These positions include material handling, reading and executing shop orders as well as labeling and marking procedures for identification of product. This position will also identify quality issues and communicate required changes to the production supervisor.
Responsibilities
Some examples of job duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Labeling, marking and identification of product
- Confirm product specifications using visual and measurement testing
- Read measuring instruments
- Accurately execute shop orders
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
- Make appropriate recommendations to the maintenance manager
- Participate in plant safety, health, and environmental programs
Qualifications
- Prior manufacturing and/or industrial experience
- Proven verbal and written communication ability
- Ability to read and understand equipment and training manuals
- Good problem-solving abilities
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Driven to work both independently and as part of a team
Physical Demands
Some examples of the physical demands of this job include but are not limited to the following:
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 30lbs.
- Manual dexterity and frequent use of both hands

Pay
Our employees are represented by United Steel Workers Local 277 with guaranteed wage increases under a collective bargaining agreement
· Starting Wage is $23.16/hr plus shift differential
o $.55/hr for 2nd Shift
· Guaranteed wage increase to $27.53/hr. + Differential after completion of 600 worked hours
