Used Car Manager
Duties:
- Manage and oversee the used car inventory, including some acquisition, reconditioning, and merchandising.
- Must be able to monitor and manage the reconditioning process of used vehicles knowing which one to keep and ones to wholesale! New parts/used parts, time to get ready!. Know which wholesale outlets maximize opportunity.
- Be able to desk deals with best lenders to maximize opportunities-familiar w/subprime/bk's a plus
Train and mentor sales staff on product knowledge and effective selling techniques.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
-Accountability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in inventory control and management.
- Knowledge of automotive industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Proficient in using computer software-V Auto helpful- for inventory management and sales tracking.
-Acquisition-are you familiar with opportune ways to acquire vehicles.
