Job Title: Human Resources Specialist

Job Summary: The HR Specialist assists the HR Assistant Manager in managing the daily activities of the Human Resources Department.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the full onboarding process for salary new hires.
- New hire data entry into UKG, process I-9 verification, and issue badge instructions/authorization document.
- Revise the onboarding presentation for new hires (salary and hourly).
- Assist salary members with any admin-related issues.
- Ensure each new hire is registered into UKG biometric system.
- Create and maintain all SOPs for HR Planning functions.
- Assist with HR forecasting and improvement of various HR processes.
- Assist with the development of new retention strategies.
- Assist with HR GAL Reporting with Headquarters.
- Assist with improvement of company policies.
- Assist with recruiting exempt and non-exempt employees.
- Assist with posting vacant positions to internal and external job boards.
- Assist with ensuring accuracy of department exempt/non-exempt job descriptions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and maintain positive working relationships.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.

Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
- 2-3 years experience as Human Resources Assistant or Specialist.
Equipment:
- Proficient in computers and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $59,000.00 per year
