We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join us at James River Animal Hospital in Nixa, MO. Our Veterinary Assistant will help support the team by doing a variety of tasks including assisting owners and patients into the exam room, helping with appointment requests, and helping to restrain pets so that we can do physical assessments. Client contact includes repertoire with the client and pet. Helping with history taking. This is an ideal position for a self-motivated individual with strong organizational skills, who is committed to delivering excellent service to all of our clients. This position also requires kennel upkeep/cleaning and clinic facility maintenance. Likely will include assistance to the veterinarian in surgical suite and radiology.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Weekends as needed
Experience:
